As globally recognized standards are published and revised in our industry, Registered Education Providers (REPs) must consider revisions to courseware, webinars, and other training materials to ensure course content is kept current and relevant.
Additionally, as PMI continues to provide new products and services to help organizations and project teams improve success rates on projects; educational providers identify the need to develop new materials and courses.
BA Academy, Inc. has extensive experience supporting REPs in the development and enhancement of curriculum. In 2015, BA Academy, Inc. completed over 1200 hours of course development work supporting clients across North America. When revising your courseware or creating new courses, utilize a resource who fully understands the industry standards. BA Academy founder, Laura Paton has served in a lead role developing the following business analysis standards for the industry:
- Chair and Lead Author for PMI’s Business Analysis for Practitioners: A Practice Guide (2015)
- Chair and Writer for IIBA BABOK® Guide v3 (2014)
- Project Manager for IIBA BABOK® Guide v2 (2009)
New Course Development
When the time comes to develop a PMI-PBA® prep course, consider utilizing the assistance of BA Academy. Laura Paton served as Chair and Lead Writer for PMI’s only published standard in business analysis- Business Analysis for Practitioners: A Practice Guide which published in Q4 of 2014.
