BA Academy, Inc. is a professional services and training company providing products and services that are focused on helping organizations and individuals apply better business analysis practices and skills to projects and programs.

Originally formed as Paton Consulting Services, Inc. in 2009, the organization has celebrated ten years in business.

What we do

Our specialty is Any Time – Any Where Learning – providing digital training experiences for individuals and organizations using a flexible, easy to use delivery platform. Take advantage of the advancement in digital technologies and train your teams at a time that makes sense for you!

Founder and CEO

Laura Paton is Founder and CEO of BA Academy, Inc. She has acquired over 30 years of project management and business analysis experience across numerous industries. Her passion is helping organizations and individuals gain a better appreciation and understanding of business analysis. She enjoys lending support to mature and improve business analysis skills and practices.

Laura has been an instrumental contributor to the business analysis profession and in the development of international standards where she has served in the following capacity:

Laura holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems from the University of South Florida, and a M.B.A. from the University of Tampa.
